This is a replica tower of the original. The original tower was rotted and blowing apart in the wind each year with big chunks of shingles disappearing. This is equivalent to about a 5 story tower and it does have a new working water tank on top. It is used as a storage building at this point. It can be found on the east end of Main St. in the town of Mendocino, CA. The view thorugh the meadow to the ocean is the view from my office for a couple of decades.
