This, I believe, is a replica of an historic tower. I seem to recall this was rebuilt in the late 70's. It is a pretty tall 2 story tower with 2 story "X" bracing. It also has an internal stair to the top. You can see this at the Kelly House Museum on Main and Albion St. in downtown Mendocino, CA.
