This is an actual historic tower in the town of Mendocino, CA. I am sure it has had some work done to repair it but it has been in this state for over 30 years since I moved here. It is a 2 story enclosed tower with a mushroom cap on top. A few things of note are the side stair to the top, much like the ones I use for my towers. Also the roof is gabled on 4 sides and the walls of the mushroom also slope. This can be found just off Lansing St. between Little Lake Rd. and Calpella St.
